Minimum Wage

For full-time, part-time, and paid internship positions, an hourly rate at or above the local minimum wage is required. Please ensure that all job postings reflect this information.

Minimum Wage Guidelines Effective July 1, 2025

California

  • Statewide Minimum Wage: $16.50 per hour (all employers).
  • Los Angeles (City): $17.87 per hour.
  • Los Angeles County (Unincorporated Areas): $17.81 per hour.
  • Santa Monica: $17.81 per hour.
  • San Francisco: $19.18 per hour.
  • West Hollywood: $19.65 per hour (non-hotel employees).

New York

  • New York City: $16.50 per hour.
  • Long Island & Westchester County: $16.50 per hour.
  • Remainder of New York State: $15.50 per hour.

Some cities adjust their minimum wages annually based on the regional Consumer Price Index (CPI). Employers are encouraged to consult local ordinances and official city websites to ensure compliance with the most current wage requirements.
