Minimum Wage Guidelines Effective January 1, 2025

California

  • Statewide Minimum Wage: $16.50 per hour for all employers, regardless of size.
  • Los Angeles: $16.78 per hour.
  • Santa Monica: $16.90 per hour.
  • County of Los Angeles (Unincorporated Areas): $16.90 per hour.
  • San Francisco: $18.67 per hour.
  • West Hollywood: $19.65 per hour.

New York

  • New York City: $16.50 per hour.
  • Long Island & Westchester County: $16.50 per hour.
  • Remainder of New York State: $15.50 per hour.

Some cities adjust their minimum wages annually based on the regional Consumer Price Index (CPI). Employers are encouraged to consult local ordinances and official city websites to ensure compliance with the most current wage requirements.
